Team-based action learning
Our action learning sessions can be used by teams of up to 6 individuals to tackle problems together. Facilitated by an Action Learning Coach, teams work together to define and align around problems, identify and reflect upon possible solutions, and coach one another to take considered action. In addition to enabling group problem solving, action learning supports team members in developing strong questioning and listening skills. Each session is 90 minutes and can be delivered on its own or incorporated into a broader team or leadership development programme.
LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®
LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® is a methodology that supports teams to address complex issues. Using LEGO® bricks, LEGO SERIOUS PLAY requires the entire team to lean into conversation, unlock the knowledge of the group, and break habitual thinking. In these workshops, play has a serious purpose; the bricks can be used to develop team values, explore a wide range of team dynamics, and even create organisational strategy. Workshops are capped to a maximum of 8 participants per facilitator, and run from between ½ to 2 days.
Myers-Briggs Type Indicator®
With about 2 million people taking it annually, the MBTI® is one of the most widely used personality assessments in the world. It provides team members with a deeper understanding of their own individual personality type, as well as those of their colleagues. This understanding enables exploration of the gifts that each individual brings to the team, as well as areas of potential challenge. Teams create an overall “team type table,” which allows them to explore potential patterns of team behaviour, and agree on action steps to take in response. Workshops range from ½ to full-day events.
Appreciative inquiry
Appreciative inquiry is a methodology that enables teams to transform using a strengths-based approach. In this workshop, we use positive questioning and dialogue to lead teams through an exploration of what’s currently working well in the team, and then provide space for them to imagine what could be. Finally, the team collaboratively designs the steps they need to take to achieve their desired future-state. The minimum duration of the workshop is 1 day, and is suitable for both small groups, as well as large-scale events.
The Five Behaviors® of a cohesive team
Featuring Patrick Lencioni’s popular Five Behaviors Model™, workshops are built around helping team members learn to work together more effectively and to become a more cohesive team by developing their capabilities in five key behavioural areas: building vulnerability-based trust, mastering healthy conflict, gaining commitment to team goals, developing peer to peer accountability, and ultimately supporting the team to focus on collective results. Workshops are typically 1 – 2 days in duration.
Bespoke team development programmes
Our bespoke programmes are designed for your unique requirements. We start by conducting a team review using a range of methods including team diagnostic tools and interviews with team members. We then create a report using the data gathered from this process and share it with the leader and their team. Following this, we work with the team to co-create a programme which responds to the findings in the diagnostic process, and the goals of the team. Programme length varies.
